SHEEP ISLAND

Sheep Island

Sheep Island is located in the famous Bras d’Or Lake (approx. 1,100 km² in size), close to our “Adventure Island Lake Estates” development. Some of our customers have already built very nice domiciles here, and this area is developing into a dreamlike vacation and leisure area.

Refuge Sheep Island

Sheep Island can be reached by boat within two minutes from our boat launch. It has many quiet anchorages for small boats on the south side and perfect anchorages for boats of popular size on the north side of the open lake. The island has a slope of about 1—6% and offers many wonderful building sites where the owner could build their dream house. By the way, a small cabin (about 12 m²), which was built about 10 years ago, is already standing here.

In former times Sheep Island was, as the name already says, used for sheep husbandry and thus was originally a pure meadow property. In the meantime, however, trees have grown again in many places, primarily fir and spruce. This property has a great deal of exclusivity and is a unique retreat. Sheep Island is the only island within approximately 4 kilometres of our Adventure Island Lake Estates development.

Unlimited Recreational Opportunities

Unlimited recreational water sports opportunities are available to the owner of Sheep Island. Whether it’s swimming, sailing, scuba diving, canoeing, kayaking, or even water-skiing, fishing, windsurfing, etc., virtually anything can be done here. Make a campfire on your own beach and grill your own freshly caught fish. A pure adventure for the owner.
